Blue Eyed "Bee-utiezzz"

Yep! I convinced Jonathan to dress up with the family again this year. I think it's fun to have a family theme. I have them all under my spellzzzzzzzz! He would rather have been ? the baywatch guy with the mustache. Well, any weird looking 80s guy with a big mustache would work. Whatever!

What we've been up to...

Trying out the good stuff...

Spending a lot of time in timeout...

Making bows for curls and bald heads...

Doing art projects...

Making friends...

Camping and Sailing, or drifting (we need that coastal breeze)...

And squeezing in some exercise (Arlington 5k)...

WANTED!

Would you hire this guy? HaHa! He'll kill me for posting this; good thing he rarely looks at our blog. He did not like this picture. Anyhow, we took it for his resident applications. He is sending applications to family medicine and internal medicine/Pediatrics rotations in Jackson, TN, Memphis, Nashville and several other places. Today our number one pick is Jackson. He is actually there this month for a rotation. We see him on the weekends and sometimes midweek depending on the schedule. He'll start interviewing these next few months. Wish us luck that he'll get "matched" to a good residency.

4 months

This is a little late, but here is Sadi at 3 months and of course Lydia had to be in the picture with her crazy bed head hair. We have a tradition where we take pictures of the kids in the same chair (the nursery breastfeeding chair) each month for their first year so we can compare how much they've grown. Then I put the pictures scrapbook style in their "First Year" calenders.

Walton Family Reunion

What do country folk do at reunions?...
EAT!

Play in the dirt...in a dress

Play games in a cow pasture (jon's recruits get younger every year)

Hike down to the creek (or ride on the hay trailer)

Freeze our piglets off in the creek b/c it's tradition (or swim like Lydia)
Then finish the day with a nap on the 4 wheeler.

3 Months old

Sadi was all smiles at her photoshoot. It was hard to cover up that quadruple chin because when she smiles, her whole body reacts (her hand go up to her face and she shrugs her shoulders.) If you look at the slide show next to this of Lydia and compare her 3 month pic (same pose) you will notice their different looks.
It was our day without Lydia, because she started mother's day out. I needed a break and time to get things done....she is such a busy body!

Florida Adventure

Hey! So here are some pics from Florida. Both sets of grandparents went to help with babies. We have such a blast everytime we go! And Jonathan got to go this year. I didn't want to go another year of him nagging me about going without him so I tried to plan early and work around his crazy schedule. I guess I am the official Florida planner for the family now. I hate doing that stuff...searching for the best deals and talking to the owners and stuff. Oh well, if I didn't do it, we probably wouldn't go. Lydia loves the beach more and more each year and Sadi did great! We rode the Hobie Cat and waverunners on the bay. There were a lot of jellyfish this time so we just played on the beach and skim boarded. Yes, I did it too. I am trying to stay active so I don't get too old...haha! You know playing soccer and football with the boys. Well, enjoy the pics.

Lake trip

This is the first time with Dad's boat out this summer. We have been so busy. It took all morning for Dad to make sure it was going to work. That's how it goes with their stuff...rigged and held together with duct tape. I should know ... I mowed grass with plenty of equipment like this.

I knee boarded (afraid to do anything else in case my insides aren't quite back together). Jonathan wakeboarded.

Grandparents helped watch the girls. Sadi slept the whole time. Lydia just liked to watch. We put her on the tube on the way back to the dock and of course Jonathan flipped with her trying to get on it...so she didn't quite like it.

Sisters

Lydia loves to hold "sissy," but Sadi is more than half her size. Sadi just goes with the flow.

Here is a rare moment when both are asleep. I was holding Sadi and Lydia just crawled up on the couch and spooned Sadi and fell asleep. Yeah! Silence for once!

A whopper of a month!

Hey guys! It has been a busy month. Here's what we've been up to...
Getting older...Sadi turned one month old. Got moma's cheeks!

Trying to potty train Lydia...She only did this once...now she just says "nooo" if you ask her if she wants to go to big girl potty.

Breaking in Nana and Popaw's neighbor's pool...

Taking care of many, many babies...

Sleeping ... during the day (working on changing this habit of
Sadi's)

Training for the Olympics (doggy pedal relay)...

Looking toooooo cute (gotta love the double chin)...

Traveling to Boston for Uncle Brett's wedding...

Celebrating birthdays (her sand castle rice crispie cake went over swell!)...
Blessing Sadi...

Enjoying Life!

Chatting

Hey guys, sorry no pictures. I didn't feel like wasting time downloading pics during this rare time that Lydia and Sadi are asleep. Things are going okay. Sadi is growing and twice the size of the other 2 babies in our church congregation (one born the same day and the other 2 weeks older). It's fun though b/c Sadi holds her head up and smiles already. None of that delicate little newborn stuff. These English/Carter babies just skip that part of life...HAHA!
Hey how do you scrapbookers find time to scrapbook? During the rare naptimes I have to do other stuff (cook, clean, pay bills, etc.) If I get all the stuff out, they end up waking up before I can even get started good. I'm just so behind...it's overwhelming. Oh I am part of a scrapbook blog group on which we post our pages to get ideas. Let me know if you want to join.

P.S. On pampers.com you can enter code from stickers inside the pampers packages and earn free stuff.

"Sisser" Sadi

"Ahhhh" What have I gotten myself into choosing to come to this earth!?" My sister is wild and crazy!
Don't be fooled by this moment of big sister reading to little sister. About two minutes later she threw this huge book on Sadi.
Yes, it has been a challenge taking care of two under two. The first day we were together all day with no fun visitors (thank you to all our family and friends helpers) I was having second thoughts. "We should have waited?" Lydia is so demanding and throws tantrums if not completely distracted every second of the day. And I have to keep a 3rd eye on Sadi just so she'll live through the day (although normally Lydia doesn't purposely try to hurt her...her hugs are just a little too rough and smoothering...and Sadi doesn't hop up and play with her on Lydia's demand). Anyhow I'm done venting. Good luck to all you soon to be parents of multiples and praise to all you suffering with me!

Gone Private

We are going to set our blog on private in a few days. We have sent emails out to those we already had so if you would like to continue to view our blog and we don't have your email, please leave your email as a comment. Thanks, English Family

The Big Day!

We had to be at the hospital at 7:30 AM so Lydia stayed at G'ma English's house. I was ready but disappointed that I didn't go into labor naturally. I actually look like I dropped in this picture but no contractions felt yet except Braxton Hicks.

Last picture as a family of three. I got an epidural which I had decided to do if I had to be induced again. The contractions come on hard and fast with IV pitocin. Here I am about 7-8 cm, but you can't tell. The epidural made me feel nothing! I had to wear oxygen because the baby was being stubborn and staying high and compressing the cord. We got close to C-section. Thank goodness, she finally decided to come after 7.5 hours!

Here we are....wow...a family of FOUR! Little miss chubs was 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long. Good thing I've got birthing hips!
Miss Sadia May English is much more mello than Lydia, thank goodness. She has the Lydia look but Snider cheeks like her mommy. Maybe she will be an angel child also like her mommy.

Come Out, Come Out!

It is now May 10 and due date passed 3 days ago. I am making it too comfortable for these babies. First Lydia was 10 days late and now this again. I tried everything but castor oil. I might be tempted next time. Anyways nothing worked and I had to be induced on May 12.
